The Narrative

Grown across a single biodynamic terrace in the cloud forests of the Araku Valley, No. 42 is our most structured lot of the season. Cherries are hand-sorted at peak ripeness and rested in sealed tanks for a controlled 96-hour anaerobic fermentation.

The result is a cup with unusual density — a syrupy body that carries dark fruit and cocoa without ever tipping into ferment. We roast it to a medium-filter profile that protects the acidity while drawing out the muscovado finish.
